I've organized the tops in my closet by color since I was in Junior High (we don't need to say how long ago that was... lol), but when it came to books... I've always organized them by height. When we moved into our new house, and it was time to unpack my sons books, a lightbulb went off, and I decided to try organizing his books just like his (and everyone else's) closet, and was blown away by how the end result looked!!
